Great experience, lovely staff, service excellent, food wonderful. Hubby had Lasagne, I had Quiche. Coffee hot and served lin a decent sized cup with a biscuit. Will definitely go back in the New Year!

Just dropped daughter and partner off at the Train Station and decided to get brekkie in Retford.First place we came to was the Baytree!Wow!Really nice place by the side of the canal. Very pictureskew!Warm welcome. Quite a varied menu.My better half chose the French Toast with berries and syrup and i had a cheese n bacon omelette + 2 americanos.Very Very tasty food and good flavoured coffee too ??.My wife is bringing her mum for a birthday 'Xmas afternoon tea' on the basis of what we had today!Very much recommended ? ?

Their food is incredible, both when dining in and taking away.I've only knocked off a star because they have a tendency to suddenly Close on JustEat. I've missed out on ordering from them three times due to this, and there's no where else to get a good, healthy takeaway meal in the area.

Great atmosphere, great staff. The food I had was lovely. Dropped one star cause they'd run out of salmon and I originally ordered salmon and cream cheese bagel. The staff were very apologetic. I would certainly visit again. ? There is a lovely outdoor seating area by the canal.

Called for lunch today. Since the last time we visited it has improved enormously. Staff couldn't help enough and the icing on the cake - a free doggy ice cream!

This has slowly become one of my favourite places for a nice lunch. I love sitting outside and watching the canal boats go through. When the sun is out it’s a real sun trap and a lovely vibe. Only thing missing is a little background music which would just top off the experience. I find inside a little cramped but it has never put me off eating here. Food is lovely, staff friendly and attentive and just overall a lovely experience

Came across this place by chance what a find! Sat outside next to canal and the weather was fab, service great. Food was fantastic and reasonable, the staff were super friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning and can thoroughly recommend

Great food. Salad had not an iceberg lettuce leaf in sight. Good portions so that my wife and granddaughter gave up even after my help. Fries very good. Well worth a visit as staff friendly, cheery and efficient.
