Very poor value for money Small portions e g half a jacket potato for children's menu . Ploughman's lunch half a Bacon's bread roll laughable not even french or crusty bread small slice of ham small slices of cheeses war time rations comes to mind but still charge top prices. Plus side a staff who wait on are nice .

Fabulous home cooked food as good as ever. 3 choices of homemade quiche, two steak pies, steak burger all well cooked and presented. Sure the prices have gone up over the last few years but where hasn’t? Not sure where the two previous reviewers visited but it didn’t sound like Torworth Grange! We were a family party of five adults and all had different things from the lunch menu. No one had any criticism at all.

I hate to write this, as previously we have enjoyed lots of lovely meals here. I don’t know what has changed but todays meal was beyond poor. No presentation and dull, bland food. I think maybe either the chef or owners have changed and the place has really gone downhill. Sorry to say we won’t be going again ?

We carefully chose this cafe for the spot it was in and children's facilities .It was my 70th birthday and my son and family came to celebrate. We thought it was Sunday lunch but alas it was just Roast Gammon not my choice .We chose off the menu as that's what was available. I chose Plough man's lunch .It was £13.95 not cheap. Well I've never see anything like it half bread roll not even crusty bread a small slice of ham little bit of cheese small portion of salad and a tiny piece of pork pie .We ordered more chips as there was not enough on the other meals .My grandson wanted chocolate cake which when it came was dry and also chocolate orange not what we wanted or asked for just chocolate cake .I didn't complain as it was a special occasion and I thought it was better not to make fuss but let them know the next day as we thought everything was just so small and expensive.I rang to tell the manager who by the way needs customer service training with her very bad attitude towards paying customers. I was told I should have complained there and then. Excuse me it was a family celebration. She was most abrupt when she said she could not give free meals away to people who complained Really? This lady made me feel I was after something for nothing her attitude was not the best .If you are going to charge a lot for food make sure it's value for money and of a good standard .Plus point the lady who did serve us was very nice so maybe she needs to learn of her staff .There was not a lot of people in the cafe and outside I wonder why ? This economic climate is affecting everyone so maybe listening to your customers might help.

Met up with a friend. I decided to order a piece of cake and coffee and she ordered soup/ bread and a coffee. We have been on a number of occasions as it is conveniently placed and a good car park, however the food was not of a good standard. ie. the cake was very dry and the soup was like dish water (leek/potato). very poor value for money. I would certainly hesitate to go back. In my opinion the standard has certainly dropped from when they first opened which is a pity.disappointed

Lovely site with 5 ponds, beautiful views and swans. Very peaceful and friendly. All pitches have their own electricity, water, drain and privacy hedge. There is a lovely restaurant-cafe on site with super friendly staff. Prices are affordable to low. I will definitely recommend and return ?
