21 High St, Ruddington, NottinghamDined with a friend on a week night in December. We were greeted by friendly staff, who showed us to our table and asked what our preferences were in terms of curries and spice level. He then offered recommendations, which were welcome as the menu is extensive! We had one main each, which came with a decent portion of rice. We also had poppadoms and pickles and a naan each, which was a little too much food for us both. My curry was well spiced and full of fresh, aromatic flavours. The naans were pillowy soft and delicious. An excellent dining experience, enhanced further by the opportunity to bring in beer from the Frame Breakers next door. We will be sure to return!

The Ruddington Arms
56 Wilford Rd, Ruddington, NottinghamPerfect Sunday lunch for a special family birthday today. The food was excellent, perfectly cooked and generous portions plus our lovely waitress (sorry I didn’t get her name) was so patient with all 8 of us and we’ll definitely be back again soon. Thank you RA!

Wellington's Cafe & Bistro
Cherry Lane Garden Centre, Pendock Ln, Bradmore, NottinghamVisited one day ago. We had a Carvery which was very nice. But the man who was serving the Carvery had all food down his shirt and did not wear an apron. Also there were no trays to put your hot plate on. I did ask and he said they had no more as they were all being used to put coffees on, also the trays were very well used so could do with being replaced. The girl who was giving out meals works very hard, but no one ever wipes the tables and the salt and pepper pots and sugar holders on the tables have food all over them. I feel that a bit more attention to detail and it could be lovely as it is very busy.

Subway
Loughborough Rd, Ruddington, NottinghamFirst up, don't order delivery from here, it's not the fault of the staff, but you will end up waiting hours and have to wait hours for it to turn up. It's a JustEat/Uber Eats issue not the subway people but you just can't do it.
It's a subway in a petrol station so it's not much of a food court or atmospheric, but that's where they've chosen to put it. The staff are fairly business-like but to be honest I didn't dislike that, they're busy and I don't need someone to give me more TLC that my parents, I just want a sandwich.
