I'd been told it was a decent "Spoons". It's not 'terrible', but just a little lack lustre. Certainly is a locals pub, but if you need a burger and a pint with no fuss or airs and graces, not a bad shout.
It was ok compared to other Wetherspoons. Service was not the quickest even though it was quiet. Food was good except for the poached egg(undercooked and from an anemic chicken). Hence only 4 out of 5.

It's OK...that's about it. Service was blah,Wetherspoons food is getting worse..stick to the breakfast and you'll be fine..anything else is poor and not worth the money.
