Never known a Greggs like it. Been standing in line almost 20min and and only 1 member of staff serving. Any more then 2 is a que. You don’t even wait this long in London greggs. However I can actually see 3 members of staff, how about stop making sandwiches in the back and deal with customers you have in the shop already.

Love a Gregg's breakfast, but the older lady who works there has put me off ever returning. Yesterday I ordered a breakfast deal. Her attitude was abrasive and sarcastic. She seemed like she would rather be anywhere else but there. She went to pull bacon out of the oven before it had finished cooking to put on my roll. I asked, "is that bacon crispy at all", to which she replied, "no". So I said I would rather wait until it had finished cooking. I really like Greggs bacon when its cooked for the proper time. It's crispy on the edges. I could see the fat was still floppy and white when she pulled this bacon out early. She said it would be 2 minutes and I was fine with that. I told her I was happy to wait. I then said, "sorry, I don't mean to be picky. I just like my bacon crispy on the edges'. Her response was, "well you are picky". I replied, "maybe you'd prefer it if I didnt come in here again", and she just agreed. I used to go in this store very regularly, and this particular member of staff is always unfriendly. Every other member of staff in that Greggs store is always great, but she went too far this time. I asked for my money back and told her that she's rude. I went to Birds a couple of doors down instead and the staff were really friendly and polite in there. I will be going there moving forward. I see that others have mentioned a miserable member of staff at that Gregg's in these reviews and I'm guessing it's the same lady. She really is very unfriendly. She used to work at the Lady Bay store, but unfortunately they moved her to my local

Visited the shop whilst in the area and I most say I am utterly disgusted and disappointed that racism is tolerated in this shop. Sat behind 3 grown grey haired men who sat there swearing left right and centre talking nothing but nonsense, cursing out foreigners and referring to people as pigeons and all sorts. Went to purchase a chicken bake and there goes another white male blatantly barged passed me to submit his order, counter staff completely oblivious to what was taking place. These kind of behaviour should not be tolerated.

Had a steak pasty and coffee, it was a lovely day so had them as take out. Food was very nice and reasonably priced to take out but thought the difference in eat in was quite steep.
Miserable woman behind counter got order wrong firstly secondly card was declined forsome reason. Asked to come back later as honest person even take details if nessasary.Said no. So she disposed of it. Miserable company.

There were 2 guys serving. I asked for hot chocolates, one cool because of my little one with me. Not a problem. We sat down. The guys swept up and other children in the room wanted to help and he let them. Absolutely brilliant. The lady sitting next to us was not happy with children and my little one left without being able to gather a smile. Tears. Before I could get to the door, the other staff member checked to see if we were alright. I have not seen such hospitality in the hospitality sector for a long time. Really impressed and thank you guys! Shall definitely feel comfortable coming again with my little one.
