Amazing food as always, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend, loved the garlic mushroom sauce that accompanied the steak. My steak was cooked to perfection. Well done to the chef, can’t praise you enough.

The Black Diamond is a brilliant local pub that truly feels like a community hub. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming — exactly what you hope for in a village pub. Locals rave about the relaxed vibe, great selection of drinks, and regular quiz nights and events that bring everyone together.
What made our visit really special was how welcoming the landlord, Steven, was — especially with my elderly grandad. Steven went out of his way to make him comfortable, checked in on him throughout our visit, and made sure he had everything he needed. It’s rare to find service that’s so genuinely caring, and it made the whole experience even better. Thanks to Steven and the team for creating such a kind, inclusive place — we’ll definitely be back!

Called in on a Saturday night without a booking as we were visitingthe area, staff got us a seat for 2 people straight away. From the minute we sat down staff were over straight away for drink orders and food menu.
Food arrived promptly, even though its was a busy Saturday night.
Excellent soup and cheese toasty to start, followed by the Nottinghamshire pie. Absolutely delicious food.
I would highly recommend a visiting with friends or family.
10/10 to the staff, food and pub

Hands down, best Indian in Worksop.

Food - Been here countless times over the years and never had a bad meal. The food is always great quality, flavourful and good portions. For how busy it gets, never had a complaint about waiting time either.

Environment - It can get busy, but with two sides of the restaurant, it's always nicely spaced. The decor is well kept and themed for a darker, cosy vibe.

Staff - Absolute delight; as frequent customers they're always up for a spot of banter and always polite and pleasant.

Been going for years and will continue to! ⭐

Greeted straight away by owner polite and attentive showed us to our table and ordered probably the best lasagna we ever eaten was outstanding
Ordered the spicy meat pizza delicious!!!
Also the wild mushroom Bourgouin is absolute must

Visited this evening for Sunday dinner. Unfortunately the beef was tough as we booked a late reservation. However it was quickly replaced with a chicken breast which was beautifully cooked and bursting with flavour. The portions are fantastic, the mash and other sides were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Very tasty gravy and the side dish of cauliflower cheese was huge! Enough for 4 people and was to die for. We would visit again just maybe at an earlier time. The manager was very accommodating and friendly.

Absolutely spot on!
I get around much of the country and this is the best cafe I've been to in a long time. The prices are very fair and the cafe is clean. The food is cooked/presented well and you actually get a PROPA pot of tea that lasts you to the end of your meal included in the price of a full English!
