Cute little hotel in the costwolds. The room was cosy , the bed comfortable.Breakfast was descent even if not much choice. It could get busy/noisy over the weekend if you are in the rooms above the bar.Good experience overall.

What can I say. We stayed here for our Christmas work function, which we had a Christmas meal and a disco was also on. The food was fantastic, all cooked so well with great presentation. The room was also beautiful, very clean, modern but with a traditional quirk. As we stayed we also had breakfast the next morning which was so fresh and clean, not greasy and thrown together. If your looking for a friendly, warm and welcoming place to visit with great food, I highly recommend. Well done to the current owners you really were amazing.

Lovely quiet little hotel. I stayed in a double room in the Annex & it had everything I required. The bed was comfy, the room had plenty of space & was clean & quiet. Unfortunately I got there too late to enjoy a meal but they did keep the bar open so I could have a couple of beers when I arrived. The evening staff could not have been more friendly helpful too.The mornings full English breakfast was one of the best I have tasted. Again, the staff on in the morning were fantastic.I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in the area.

We stayed one night in September, when we were shown to our room, we had to wait while the person from the room next door removed his clothes from the wardrobe in our room, apparently his basin was not in use so he had to use our facilities. We were offered another room after we said we would like to cancel, which we accepted, this room was OK but the shower room was tiny........ We were told we didn't need to book for dinner and we soon realised why, this was the hotel's dinner menu!!! Unbelievable!!! Warning bells should have rung when we couldn't find any details of the food on the hotel website.... we had to drive to a restaurant in the next village!! The breakfast was very good although had to complain about the yogurt as although in date clearly something wrong with it!!!! Not a very enjoyable "treat" night away.

Stayed here for work. Staff was amazingly helpful and went above and beyond in being hospitable. The manager/ owner helped me figure out travel plans for my next stop and was extremely nice and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here when going to Brize or any other reason to check out the area.

Excellent staff, really friendly and helpful. Maybe could do with a weaker lager or some real ale but good rooms , nice bar and garden.

We selected to stay one night here Saturday 16th September, really because of all the previous glowing reviews. We opted to have a meal here in the evening and although I have never had a Beef Stroganoff quite like it before, it was superb. The beef stroganoff was literally two small fillets of beef, with a sauce covering them both and cooked sliced mushrooms on top. With this meal you had mash potato and red cabbage all of which was superb. My wife had a Margarette Pizza which she also enjoyed. Drinks here are priced quite keenly and you never felt ripped off. There is ample parking and the main building itself is absolutely lovely. The staff, waiters etc are also very welcoming, kind and very considerate. The menu is extremely limited so if Pizza is your bread and butter, you will be fine. They only appear to have one choice of special meal available to chose from. Sunday 17th September we had breakfast in the pub/restaurant area. Again we met the owners/staff and sat down along with about 16 others for our breakfast. As we were eating our lovely breakfast another couple came in and looked for a table to sit at. The young couple had selected a table but quite suddenly decided to move to the other side of the restaurant and they both looked quite perplexed. What was then quite apparent was that on the carpeted floor by the tables in the restaurant was several cat faeces (poo). There was actually two separate locations with faeces on the floor and the young lady was quite right to quickly inform the staff. Seeing faeces in the eating area was the absolute last straw for us, and we basically finished up and the breakfast area and just decided to set sail early. We gathered up our belongings from our room handed the key back to the bar area and departed. This place could be a really brilliant place to eat. However I would suggest that the staff/owner ensures that a proper check of the breakfast/restaurant area is carried out in future, prior to any customers coming in to the restaurant. Having any faeces in an area where you are serving food and people are eating is totally unacceptable and would put us off staying/eating here again.

Had a lovely weekend stay at The Vines. Found the staff/management to be very friendly, cheerful, and willing to go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We had cooked breakfast each morning, we could not fault it. Excellent. The evening food is themed, which I enjoy trying different food, unfortunately my husband is a steak aholic when on holiday but they managed to sort something out for him.The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. They cater to people with mobility problems (which we are) we had a ground floor room with walk in shower located in the cottage next door to dining roomThank you to all at The Vine

Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady, who's English was poor. Hence, we couldn't find out about evening meal menu etc. We booked a twin room. When I moved the beds to make more room there was dirt and dust underneath the beds and bedside cabinet. The bed was very uncomfortable lumpy matress. The cooked breakfast bacon and sausage well overcooked like it had been deepfried
