A really pretty pub in a stunning area. This is the perfect stop off during or after a long walk.They welcome dogs and people alike.We went on a Sunday and it was fully booked for all the tables so I would recommend getting here early or booking ahead.The chips were delicious and the pint went down a treat.Thoroughly recommend
The kitchen stays open so ideal for a late lunch. The food was excellent with an lovely dark bitter. The landlord himself is much in evidence on both sides of the bar, always a good indicator.

Traditional country pub, excellent well kept beer and very good food. Lovely terrace garden at the front which is a real sun trap on all but the coldest days. Then go inside to a log fire.
