The gym, spa and trainers are all excellent. The members are all friendly.i have been a member for several years and very happy here. There are a wide range of classes and the membership price is very transparent and stable. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.Thank you for all you do

Had booked into the sister hotel in Burnham. They took our booking and money and then told us they didn't have rooms! They offered us this hotel in Bicester instead. The outside of the hotel was nice and well maintained. The spa was clean and well equipped. The hallway outside our room was not cleaned. Evidence of partying not cleared up despite us arriving around 4pm. There was no mini bar. The bathroom was not very clean with some pubic hair left around the toilet and the shower gel was empty. There was a single hook in the bathroom despite it being for 2 occupants. Dinner was included in the restaurant which was very shabby and the staff although friendly didn't know much about the drinks being served or the meals. There were some vegetarian options but overall limited. The bar was friendly but the seating was worse for wear. This was supposed to be a romantic getaway but the hotel didn't feel special and the upkeep of the rooms, bar and restaurant were poor. Breakfast was below average served in a very tired looking restaurant. I've had better in 2 star hotels. The 'hot' food was luke warm, coffee wasn't fresh, very limited selection of food. It's close to Christmas but we were not informed that there would be noise and late music for parties eitherOverall poor customer service

We stayed here for a little bit of luxury before our shopping trip to Bicester. Unfortunately it wasn’t that - better off staying in a premiere inn. The rooms were small and basic - uncomfortable beds (definitely not a king size!!)Stains on chairs in the room and on carpet. Bathroom was small and basic. The spa pictures are quite misleading and the hot-tub was a cold-tub.Wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nicer getaway.

I went to Bicester Hotel Golf Spar with a group for a Christmas buffet, the meal was the worst I have had ,I wouldn't give the food quality 1 star but its the lowest I can give them.the chicken they served was like eating rubber the roast potatoes were soggy and had a unusual tates, turkey was quite dry very poor selection of vegetables in all it was a big disappointment, wouldn't recommend this place for food to my worst anamy

Attended a party. The place was very nice but MOST of the staff assigned were RUDE! I haven’t seen such awful behaviour from a staff! They ruined the atmosphere of a very grand debut party! Disgusting service ever!

The 2 stars is not a reflection of the room but the drainage issues and our need to keep being moved. We were in the accessible rooms and had to move 3 times due to drainage issues. However staff were amazing ? ? and could not be more helpful. The hotel staff and spa were fab and food was amazing xRooms: Good facilities and cleanliness but drainage system caused issuesFood & drinks: Great dinner and breakfast.Choice is excellent.

I was given a spa break with dinner, an overnight stay and breakfast for my birthday. At £320 I feel my son paid over the odds. The hotel looks tired and shabby in places. The spa looks dated. When we called to see when we could use the spa we couldn’t get through to the spa reception. My son managed to speak to main reception who said we could check in at 3pm and the spa was available from midday. When we arrived we were told differently. The system was down so checking in took longer than normal. Our facials were good and the evening meal was lovely. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but my husband heard the bar man telling guests that it wasn’t open! When he told the barman we had a table booked that evening the barman had to check with reception. Communication seems poor. Our superior bed wasn’t very comfortable. Mattress must be quite old. When I took a shower I discovered the body wash dispenser was empty. Surely something that should be checked when preparing the rooms? All in all I found it to be overpriced and if booking a hotel stay or spa break wouldn’t choose this particular hotel.

First time experiencing Bicester Hotel Spa. I booked the twilight experience which at the time I brought it had Halloween special (20% off) which the original price was 115 each. This included afternoon tea and the use of the spa facilities from 4pm-8pm.The venue it self was lovely had a Christmasy vibe already. Though when we sat down for our afternoon tea they didn't provide us a menu on what would be included it was just word of mouth from the waitress. The group I went with we had some dietaries requirements like gluten free and no pork and egg. Which they tried to cater for. When the food arrived for the pork free ones they brought over ham sandwich ? they kindly removed it and left it with 2 cucumber small rectangle sandwich with butter.. was very disappointed to be honest, I didn't even want to include it in my picture. And because there was so much back and forth and we waited so long for the food. I just accepted it. The whole afternoon tea was not to my taste every was so dry. Even the desserts wasn't to my liking also. And that's usually my favourite. The spa it self was nice. I went for the Thalgo Foot Refresher, which was new to me... not what I expected. They used a scrub from my knee to my foot. I found it slightly painful the scrub. But the oil and the massage was so relaxing. And when I felt my legs and foot afterwards it was sooo soft. It was a good job.Overall it was an ok experience, could've been better according to how much it was.Food & drinks: The afternoon tea wasn't to my tasting but the food in the bar afterwards was delicious but a bit pricey.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, fantastic facilities and staff. Only quibbles are that it’s a little out of the way and the menu, whilst excellent food, is limited.

My recent visit to the spa did not meet my expectations. Upon arrival, one of the women at the front desk was abrupt and lacked hospitality. Although the changing rooms were clean and well-maintained, the spa itself was average at best. The water temperature was not warm enough and the relaxation areas were far from relaxing. However, the hot shower was a highlight of the experience. The buffet lunch was surprisingly good, but it is important to note that drinks other than water come at an additional cost. While some of the staff members were pleasant, the majority did not even smile. In particular, the lady at the bar at noon was incredibly rude and condescending. Additionally, we received strange looks from other guests due to our modest attire.I have no plans to visit again and would definitely not recommend!

A great hotel, very clean and pleasant. Great service from the team. Especially enjoyed my interaction with the manager (Tyrone) who has more than helpful and friendly. Well done guys!

Meet my sister there today, for afternoon tea and it was very disappointing. The lady serving us was very unhelpful, we were booked for 2.30pm she didn’t listen to our drinks orders we had to repeat ourselves a number of times. Then she became frustrated with us as we asked for another bottle of water. After 45 mins we final got our food! The sandwiches were dry, the cakes looked nice but some were still frozen in the middle. No one came to check on us or asked if we wanted more drinks. We finally had a lovely girl Emilie who must of just started her shift came and ask if we needed everything. The only pleasant member of staff we had received throughout our time.Definitely will not be recommending
