“This place closes at five thirty and we entered half an hour before the closing time. We were very welcoming and the guys made us feel very comfortable even chatting with us.The tea and scones we had was really nice and warmed up.Really nice cream and jam in good portions.We really enjoyed and recommend for future clients”

“I had an amazing experience at this pub! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our drinks were always full and our food was delicious. Speaking of food, the menu had a great variety of options, and everything we ordered was superb.The ambiance here is perfect for a casual evening with friends or a cozy date night. “My daughter booked this pub as she was staying in the area and we travelled from Hampshire and our journey was certainly worth it. We shared between the 3 of us a grilled calamari starter and a cheese souffle. All extremely good, with lots of flavour. We all chose the roast chicken dinner and it was a struggle to finish it as the portions were very generous, excellent roast potatoes and accompanying vegetables (see photos). The corn fed chicken was perfect. No room for desserts unfortunately. Served by Tony, very friendly and engaging and we thought the bill was reasonable for such good quality food. Lovely rustic but not in a shabby way pub with a nice ambience on a Sunday lunchtime. I would love to try their other offerings.”

“Well it’s a beautiful place and GREAT SERVICE! Room exceptional!I stay at a lot of hotels and I was worried when I read the reviews I have to admit, BUT what a load of waffle! The hotel is EXCELLENT.We stayed for one night and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well presented! In fact the rooms are better than a lot of rooms where I have stayed for a lot more money.Hotels smells beautiful and fires are always attended too, keeping it nice and warm.Don’t be put off by the reviews as they are honestly waffle. In fact I cannot believe people write such negative things. I am very fussy but this hotels was stunning.Well done all, great hotel and beautiful hospitality!
