Pubs in Chipping Norton
“We have had breakfast, lunch and a evening meal over the last few months while staying in this area and with always a warm welcome from staff. Dog friendly with a small toy basket which my dog now knows and heads straight there when we visit, a offer straight away of water for the dog. The food is lovely never a bad meal cooked/presented well. Would recommend highly.”
“Food/drink - just the job, we only had soup, a fish finger sandwich and a Diet Coke but can’t fault for the price and convenience.Service - friendly and helpful.Atmosphere - quiet but didn’t expect anything else on a Thursday afternoon.Lovely olde worlde pub!”
“100% recommended. The Blue Boar is a lovely pub steeped in character, we will definitely be back soon! One mark down on the food as the sponge pudding was slightly dry, but otherwise the meal was fantastic.Vegetarian options: Plenty of choice and you are asked about any dietary requirements before ordering. Staff were very knowledgeable and efficient.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the town car park (5 mins walk away).”
“Very dog friendly indoors, and they serve food all day with no break/gap. We went at 3pm and had a great burger, with good beer and outstanding service.”
“Lovely homely feel to this pub , landlady couldn’t be more helpful and a nice local atmosphere alsoDecent selection of beers and plenty of room to sit down10/10 from me”
“After nothing much to see Diddly Squat Farm (lol) we popped up the road and found this little pub. Well presented, dog friendly quaint place, we decided to have a quick lunch. We both chose the burger that came with chips abs baconaise, although a little on the small side given the price, we couldn't fault the quality and level of service, experienced. We would definitely return, if we are up this way again....4/5”
