I took my wife to the wild rabbit to celebrate our anniversary and had the tasting menu. We ordered a special bottle of wine. The food was great but the service and ambience completely ruined the experience for us. At one point we had to wait 45 minutes in between one course, to the point where we ran out of wine for the rest of our courses and had to miss the final course because we were worried we would miss our taxi (we'd assumed 3 hours would have been long enough for dinner!) When we expressed our concerns to the waiter we were greeted with an attitude explaining that we should deal with it because a tasting menu concept takes time... so we were in the wrong. On top of that the chef decided it's okay to put a loud timer that blares out across the whole restaurant every 10 minutes like a morning alarm clock which was so incredibly irritating and not something you'd expect in a fine dining experience. We got no gesture or apology for our terrible experience. And the whole experience cost us 350 gbp. So we left feeling very shortchanged. It has the feeling of a big chain where the staff / management don't seem to have much love for the place or care about their customers.

Well it’s a beautiful place and GREAT SERVICE! Room exceptional!I stay at a lot of hotels and I was worried when I read the reviews I have to admit, BUT what a load of waffle! The hotel is EXCELLENT.We stayed for one night and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and well presented! In fact the rooms are better than a lot of rooms where I have stayed for a lot more money.Hotels smells beautiful and fires are always attended too, keeping it nice and warm.Don’t be put off by the reviews as they are honestly waffle. In fact I cannot believe people write such negative things. I am very fussy but this hotels was stunning.Well done all, great hotel and beautiful hospitality! Very impressed and thanks for a lovely stay!Thank youRooms: Beautiful rooms

We did the tasting menu here with the accompanying wine flight, it was very good food which was well put together. The restaurant and surroundings are a fantastic setting with roaring fires and a great atmosphere, with friendly service. My only comment on the tasting menu it would be nice to have another hot course.

Really beautiful cosy pub, perfect English countryside stopover. It’s exactly what you think of when you think of a lovely but posh pub in the country. The food was amazing, portions needed to be bigger though. It was my birthday and i got glass of bubbly and a small dessert. The food did take over an hour to arrive, the service was amazing but i had to take a star off for the wait. Chocolate tart was insanely good. Would come back but the portions left something to be desired.

My fiancé and I have been to a lot of restaurants and pubs in England before, but we both agree that The Wild Rabbit is the best one we have been to so far. The food is exquisite, the service is outstanding and the decor is beautiful. I personally liked the bar area much more than the restaurant bit. The bar area has a proper old pub feel to it with a fireplace. Only the bar area is dog friendly. We got a homemade sourdough bread with organic butter and a canapé before our 3 course meal. Both were amazing.

Fantastic. Came for a birthday dinner. Felt so welcome as soon as we walked in. Service spot on, really nice atmosphere and the food itself was excellent. Can't fault it. Would recommend to anyone.

Everything was perfect and the team at the Wild Rabbit made my wife’s birthday weekend celebrations better than we could have ever expected. Top class but really relaxed experience. The cottage was superb. Will definitely be back….

Love this place, and enjoyed our fourth stay very much. Quaint little pub in the lovely little village of Kingham in the Cotswold. The rooms are quirky, kids loved them.We ate in the bar which is very relaxed and kid friendly, the restaurant serves a lovely looking taster menu.We stayed here the night prior to the Big Feastival as only down the road.Highly recommended.

Having enjoyed previous stays, we were left disappointed on this occasion. Bathroom was dirty around the facilities, curtains had food marks on them, and rugs were stained (see pics). Dirty cups/glasses were not removed from rooms daily. Poached eggs for breakfast were over cooked. A mere half rasher of bacon on each muffin for egg Benedict, instead of the beautiful thick ham which used to be served. The Bircher Muesli was cloggy and cement like and they ran out of croissants. The tasting menu was a disappointment and has lost its wow factor. Things have changed and it’s not for the better.

We stayed in the Mulberry cottage and it was just lovely. Easy Walking distance to trails and the Daylesford shops and restaurants….which were all yummy. The welcome pack of food was appreciated and the cottage was just right in terms of size for 2 couples. It was very clean as well. Would definitely go again. I did think they should think a bit more about security but I guess they know what the are doing!!

The Wild Rabbit and staff have gone down hill rapidly ! I just to always know I’d get Good Service great food and drink Last night was awful the drinks where terrible and when I complained I was Smerked at and Patronised . What used to be proper cocktail is now just in a thimble it’s half the size of just a few weeks ago . The Food is no longer great it’s just ok . The worst part Is the way the staff treated me I’m fairly register there and they almost humiliated me . I had to apologise to my friend and we left knowing we would never return. Very sad to say the least

Picture this: a charming stroll through a picturesque town, cows gently grazing in the meadow, and a fairy tale-like setting - all leading us to The Wild Rabbit. The ambiance was cozy, with a crackling fire on the side, creating the perfect backdrop for our eagerly awaited Sunday roast adventure! As we were seated, we couldn't help but notice a mysterious covered well in the middle of the restaurant, adding to the place's enchanting aesthetic. And the service? Oh, it was nothing short of magical! The starters were a culinary delight, even managing to make a tomato skeptic like me swoon! Juicy and sweet tomatoes paired with basil chilled using nitrogen and goats cheese - a burst of flavors that left us enchanted. Now, I must admit, the roast was a bit like a gentle rabbit hop rather than an electrifying leap in terms of presentation and complexity. But fear not, our bellies were happily popping, and that's what matters, right? And then, the desserts! A brilliant finale with the unexpected twist of sheep's milk, elevating the dish with a delightful depth of flavor. In conclusion, The Wild Rabbit casts a delightful spell on its guests, earning a strong 4 to 4.5/5. While the roast could have had a touch more enchantment, the overall experience was truly magical, and we left with hearts full of fond memories and satisfied appetites. A fairytale feast indeed! ??✨

This is one of the most beautiful decorated pubs/restaurants O have been to. Modern clean and disabled friendly. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the barman I believe his name was James was a great help giving us information on the local area.Thank you
