Lovely food; welcoming staff and modernised setting. Unfortunately, whilst we were eating, rats kept walking past the window in the outdoor seating area.

We were staying at nearby Premier Inn when we visited for dinner and breakfast. On both visits the food and service were great. The chicken, bacon and maple syrup waffle was lovely and it was great that there was extra maple syrup on a side dish, so much so that I had bacon and maple syrup pancakes for breakfast the next morning! I was impressed that you get a decent sized glass of orange juice for 99p with breakfast. Going from other reviews about being fined in car park, we were asked on both visits if we had parked in the car park as if so we needed to enter our registration but we'd walked over from PI. Downside was the various rats in the garden we spotted from our table(s), we understand that Harvester are trying to do something about the issue but definitely not what you want to see whilst eating

On the way home after a long drive. Met promptly at the door and taken to our table despite not having booked. Hadn't had enough to drink so bottomless Pepsi was very welcome! Enjoyed our food in clean welcoming surroundings. What was special? The lady who met us at the door was very cheerful, and the gentleman who looked after us at our our table (Robin) was excellent. Great service.

Staff doing their best but it’s not good enough. If it wasn’t so serious it would be laughable we were treated to a number of rats running around the garden just by the window where we were eating our meal !!! And then a rabbit decided to join them Disused with the supervisor who was aware of the problem and informed us the rodent officer is visiting 5 times a week clearly it’s not working the restaurant should be closed until it can be given a 5 star rating by the EHO. Come on M&B

I went to this restaurant for a meal with my boyfriend's family and have now received an £85 fine for parking at the restaurant. I guess it's good way of making money for Harvester, but I think it's a bit rubbish

Being shown to table that is being still under preparation, when other tables were laid & ready to receive guests. Food not as good as on previous visits, probably the Harvester equivalent of we won't be here much longer so.

We nipped in for a very quick bite to eat with 2 young kids. Food and everything was fine, but to my surprise a week later I have received a parking fine of £85. We were literally parked for 30mins! Absolute joke! We weren't told we needed to submit our numberplate to park!

We stopped here, with a small child, for some respite on a very long journey. It couldn’t have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The food was fresh and tasty. And they were supportive of our travelling needs. We’ll plan our next journey with this place in mind.

I recently visited this branch of the Harvester with my boyfriend for a celebratory meal. I have coeliac disease and in this day and age don’t struggle to find nice restaurants to dine at. Having previously visited various branches of the Harvester with my family in the past, they were very accommodating to my allergies as a coeliac. However on this visit after being assured by greeting staff that our waiter would go through the suitable food options with me, we were seated and left to muddle through the online allergen menu. When we were finally greeted by a waiter and asked if we were ready to order, I asked for some direction with finding a suitable gluten free option. Our waiter was as helpful as he possibly could be, but unfortunately when he asked for assistance with his manager after being unable to find suitable meal options we were quickly dismissed. I was unable to find a gluten free option to have other than steak and chips - which is not the wide range of options I expected from a restaurant in 2022. My boyfriend and I sadly left the establishment after not being able to have our celebration meal. I am overall very VERY disappointed with the options the Harvester has for an individual with coeliac disease, and would suggest anyone else with gluten allergies AVOID this restaurant.

Just received a parking fine from Didcot Harvester. Was only there for half an hour. If the restaurant is slow then how come we get charged. Now going ot spend half an hour trying to reverse the charge. Will never go to Harvester again if they think automated systems like this work.

This evening we were forced out of the hotel next door (Marriot) to eat elsewhere due to a powercut affecting all the immediate businesses. The Harvester appeared to be the only one open and everyone from the hotels etc were piling in for dinner. The staff were working their socks off to cater for a tsunami of customers. Well done to all of you :-) thought you might appreciate a review. We were the group of 3, at the window, with the treacle deserts. Not an easy night by any means but you all did well. I joked to my mate, you guys should have flipped the fuse box off for your place to stop the overload of customers lol Hope you all get a good rest after the mad rush ! Thankyou, and the food was really nice by the way !

Awful experience. Ongoing complaint about Harvester in Didcot since last year. Restaurant is fine but customer service department is dreadful. Hope noone else has any issues that actually need a resolution.

The food was excellent and service was good. However when paying the bill we felt very pressured to leave a tip as we were handed the device and were asked to leave a tip while our waitress stood over us.
