I and my partner were fortunate enough to spend our Wedding Day at Sudbury House Hotel. The day was perfect, thanks to Natalie & the team going above & beyond! The scenery is stunning and made some really good photos for our wedding. All of the guests who attended in the day & evening complimented the foods provided, especially the roast beef. The deluxe Suite was definately pleasant, spacious & worth the money which added a special feel to our day.Thank you Sudbury House & team for make our day special.Rooms: The Deluxe suite is stunning, and definately worth the money. It's not just the room you are paying for, but you also get to experience the unique lobby & staircase Sudbury House provides just before you open your rooms door.Walkability: The gardens were beautiful, and definately worth a walk through.Food & drinks: The food was delicious, all of the 52 guests that attended complements the wedding breakfast, evening buffet, and morning breakfast the following day. Most people complemented the roast beef.

We stayed from Thursday to Sunday last week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food, service and accommodation were all first class; the staff were all very courteous and attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Well, where shall I start, if you want a luxury stay i definitely recommend not to stay here. The rooms were dirty and throughout my stay , they weren’t cleaned once. The toilet had skid marks from the last people that stayed and when I asked for this to be cleaned, I was told they would send someone , no one came. Sleeping on the beds was like lying on an ironing board, hard and uncomfortable. The heating in my room was not working which caused my baby to get ill , when telling reception they said they would fix it. , again nothing was done. The staff were rude , and weren’t interested in making me feel comfortable at all. We also had a party hosted there , worst experience ever. Was told to turn our ethnic music down because apparently it was too loud , but yet before the party we was told we can have it at any volume. Ruined the whole birthday party. Food was also cold and on multiple occasions the wrong food was being brought out. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY IN A TRAVELODGE , WHICH IS 10x BETTER.

If I had known this hotel was run by a bunch or racists, I could have prevented the biggest waste of money as we (tried to) celebrate my mothers birthday. Apparently our "ethnic" music was too loud even though we were in a function room completely to ourselves. Good luck getting service at breakfast when Jane is on her shift, can't even get a cup of coffee until the white guests are seated. And don't expect an apology from events manager Zoe because you will be sadly disappointed. They even forgot to charge us for the food on the night so they charged each of our guests cards without consent. Very rude, obviously racist and one of the worst services I have every encountered - Stay clear of this place if you like modern integration of cultures and people with manners and respect.
This hotel and service is absolutely disgusting! Would never stay here again, no hygiene! Had to request on several occasions for my bedding to be changed, toilet was dirty no toilet rolls were in the bathroom. Food was served cold and when asked to change faces were made by staff, just no good service provided! Do NOT waste your money to stay here

One of the worst hotels you could ever stay at. Rudest staff, especially managers Zoe and Jane. Room was cold and dirty. Expect no helpful service when they have a wedding on. Waste of money.

Was here for my son's wedding, to me, everything went smoothly with no problems.The room was comfortable and clean, well presented and odourless. The food was tasty and enjoyable. Breakfast the following morning was awesome and, again, tasty food.Staff, to me, appeared diligent and efficient plus the had the knack of not being in your face but we're there when you needed them.

The staff member on reception was abrupt and rude. We thought about not staying but couldn't find an alternative so late. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Same staff member was working on checkout and couldn't be nicer. Must have caught her at a bad time when checking in!
