Delicious food. However, was not felt welcomed. The manager (I assume, the man in charge) had a stern unfriendly face. He didn't speak to us. He was piolte, but not chatting.....the waitresses were friendly enough. We had to change a chair because my friend had a bad back, he wasn't impressed.Such a shame, for us it ruined the environment.

Excellent meal and service. Around 40 eat in the function room, and all the courses arrived in a short time. Good selection of alesVegetarian options: The lentil pie was very good. The accompanying vegetables perfect.

Great chef and authentic French proprietor who cooks a mixed French/English menu. Good casual pub atmosphere and didn't feel at all awkward taking children.Kid-friendliness: There were no other children when we visited but we were made to feel very welcome.
