“Gurkha Village is a very welcoming restaurant with friendly and attentive staff, an attractive and comfortable place with excellent Nepalese food. We particularly enjoyed the lamb curry and the garlic naan were delicious. We arrived soon after opening time so the atmosphere hadn't really had time to build, but there was a steady stream of customers arriving and it was clear many were regulars. “What a lovely pub and a great find. Myself and a friend were enroute to a weekend event and stopped here for a quick drink. Then on the way back we stopped in the hope to grab dinner. However the kitchen had closed. But the landlord was amazing - he offered us some food regardless and prepped it before going on our merry way. Scampi and chips was order of the day and it was delicious. Will definitely return for more food. Setting was great and service exceptional.”

“The staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a bit of a joke with them. The food , even though it was the end of carvery; was still hot. There was a choice still and they had brought fresh veg out. Also offered to make more gravy ( we didn't need it ).Will go again.We went to a private part here a couple of years ago ( wedding vows renewal after party). Was very nice then.
