“I was fortunate to be close to The Paper Boat Cafe during a month-long stay in Oxford over the summer. The location and views are enchanting, every person working there is warm and friendly, and the food and drinks are exceptional. I visited almost every day during my stay, often trying something new, and everything I tried was fantastic.It's worth a visit for anyone in Oxford and especially if you want to find a relaxing spot away from the bustle of High Street.”

“New Owner. It's my first time to visit after they changed hand. They have a new menu and start selling ice cream and Ice lollies. The chef and the lady at the till are lovely and helpful. We ordered at the till, paid and they bring us the food. Today's special: Fish wrap. It tastes so delicious. Highly recommend.”

“I was not sure what to order but polite staff patiently took me through the menu and i made the best decision. The food is fresh and the the restaurant is clean. The staff gave me samples of salad to try and i was not charged for that. I will definitely come back again and again.”

“The Sun, top end of the village (well lets say the Oxford end), is a nice friendly pub, with a nice garden that does get a good sunset glow; visually busy decor inside (which i like) and relaxed atmosphere a credit to those who work there. Like the other pubs in the village, I fear very much use it or loose it, and be grateful it made it through COVID!Did not get chance to try the food, but will be back soon to do just this....”

“This was our first visit to Fernando’s Cafe. We weren’t sure what to expect as it does look very ‘basic and simple’ inside. On ordering our food, we were met by a friendly, helpful chap whom I informed this was our first time eating at this particular cafe. He explained how the process worked at which stage I went ahead and ordered. Our food came to us. I can quite honestly say, it tasted absolutely amazing. My husband and I both said the chips we had were probably the best we’d ever eaten and as for our burgers, they were also very good. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant as although as previously mentioned, the actual cafe doesn’t shall we say ‘sell itself well’, the food is a different matter which of course is what matters, it’s just fabulous. Thanks guys for a lovely lunch at Fernando’s cafe, we will definitely come back to you.”

“My wife and I discovered this lovely cafe using the bounce app for luggage storage and stayed for breakfast. The coffee was by far the best we’ve had on our trip. The smoothie I had was perfect and the poached eggs and avocado toast was to perfection! My wife had portage and GF lemon cake. The vibe was great with good music at a perfect volume. Last but certainly not least the staff was incredibly warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. I wish I had such a cafe close to home! We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free”
