Lovely spot to stop for a drink by the river. Worth the stroll out from Oxford with a great outdoor area and decent bar food menu. Recommended.

Nice vibe and great location by the river surrounded by green. You can only walk here or cycle as far as I am aware and now that the days are getting longer and sunnier it’s a great spot for a drink.I personally find the food quite expensive so only had desserts and drink and prices are ok.So wouldn’t eat there but definitely be back for drinks

Had such a great time at the isis, quaint and fun atmosphere. But food really bad and so expensive for what it is. I got the chickpeas&cous cous, and the oil, in combination with the abundantly, if unevenly, distributed salt quantity kept me up at night. Don't normally leave reviews, such a charming place shame about the food quality.

I think kids meals are worth less than 4 stars for value but it's a while since I ate dishes designed for an adult and I didn't want to underrate it based on lack of experience.Kid-friendliness: They can run around but not so as to disrupt anything as there's a shed load of space indoor and out.

Atmosphere was great during a college event but the food was awful, not sure if this reflects the food in general though..Carrots in Christmas dinner were rock solid!

Popped in for a drink whilst walking along the river. We were greeted with a 'Welcome to the Isis'. We only had drink but the food looked good.

We just had our wedding here . Noreen & Adrian the owners could not do enough, for us on our special day food was amazing, staff that took care off our guests done a great job. We would recommend this venue if anyone is planning their wedding. We going to book here for our wedding anniversary . Bobbie Carlton new Mr! &. Mrs Mayhew

Been going to The Isis for 50+ years. Went in today as we were walking home from town. One side of the bar was blocked off for a wedding (fair enough) but the door to the toilets (which is also a fire exit) from the open side was blocked by a table with condiments on. There were 2 toilets outside but they were dirty and didn’t lock it is also very expensive but it does have a lovely view
