Arriving at the pub, I was really hungry.Leaving I was not.A huge serving of fish&chips (I did order extra chips) made a difference.The chips were really good. The fish was fresh and a very rich serving. But partly because of a very generous battering, which was slightly overcooked to my taste.All in all a nice dinner at a reasonable price level.
The strongest recommendation that I could ever offer! I booked two weeks ago to reserve a table for six, unfortunately one of us couldn't make the reservation and I can tell you that they definitely missed out on the best Sunday lunch going!I've spent more on Sunday lunch in the past but this is hands down the best Sunday roast I've had in recent memory! Wonderful lunch for 4 today, the food was so delicious, beautifully presented using top quality ingredients. It was excellent value for money and worth every single penny. As usual we were well looked after front of house by Sage who entertained us with her cheerfulness and outstanding service.Sage and Matthew, thank you for coming to Iffley. You deserve every success.
