This is the nicest Indian food I have ever eaten, and at 64, I have eaten a fair few curries! It was absolutely amazing. I had a vegetable curry, and each mouthful was bursting with flavour. It was fresh, colourful and delicious. The staff were all helpful and cheerful too. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely visit again next time I am in Oxford. Thank you.Vegetarian options: I am vegan and had plenty of lovely options to choose from.

Truly atrocious customer service. I placed an order for delivery on the Monsoon website. The delivery was advertised as taking 45 minutes and was listed as arriving at a set time. The order was made at a set time. After calling to figure out where the order was since the food had not arrived at a set time (we called 10 minutes after the stated delivery time), the restaurant was extremely rude at answering our queries. They swore at my friend, talked over her, offered no apology whatsoever, and claimed total ignorance at the state of the order. The restaurant even had the audacity to say during the call "the longer you stay on the line with us, your food will be delayed in delivery". They then said they would cancel the order and just hung up on us. Had they just apologised for the lateness we would have understood. Completely unacceptable, restaurant staff clearly need better training on how to deal with customers and how to respect women, in general. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CUSTOM TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Went with family for dinner. The food was really delicious especially the Keema Rice and Biriyani. The dining experience was exceptional and staff was able to provide outstanding service.Will definitely recommend ?

Placed an order online for delivery. My friend rang the restaurant as the food had not yet arrived by the stated delivery time. The man on the phone was very rude. Not only did he not apologize for the late delivery time, he also swore at my friend. I understand that we ordered at a busy time and things take longer than usual. However, that does not give him the right to be patronizing and rude. Will definitely not be ordering from here again.

The food was absolutely delicious! The staff couldn't do enough for us - we really felt cared for and appreciated the whole time. The portion sizes were very generous, and the price was very competitive. I will be returning here! 5* !!! Great range of choice including vegetarian and vegan options.

The pub has a really great range of beers and the landlord was super friendly. Offered I could eat the curry in the bar but I chose to eat in the restaurant. Starter was chicken tikka. Really well presented, great taste, great quality chicken. Main was chicken madras which was excellent. Really tasty and very hot as billed. Service was great, attentive but not obtrusive. Final bill for starter, main rice and vegetable side dish was £29.95 so very reasonable. Drinks came from the pub next door.

Overall my experience was alright. The food was very average and it took an incredibly long time to get to my table. The atmosphere could do with some pizzazz just to make it at least mildly interesting. It didn't ruin my night but it didn't make it better.

Takeaway.Takeaway containers not full as you would getting from other takeaways.The flavours were ok, the food was quite greasy.Didn't have some of the items ordered, no problem as substitutes were made.Price was on par with other similar takeaways

Chewy grissly lamb tikka massala, chewy grissly lamb pathia which was nothing like pathia just another lamb curry. Rice's good, naan bread good. Very expensive and disappointing.

When your food arrives and you can't distinguish which is the chicken madras curry and chicken tikka masala you know something isn't quite right. Both lacked in chicken, ( 3 pieces each) both had way too much watery sauce. Don't think I'll be using Monsoon again. Oh, the poppadoms were OK.
