Two dislocated Australians wandering backstreets of Headington on a bleak Tuesday afternoon in late Spring, just exploring where footpaths and back alleys took us, on our first visit to Oxford in 40 years. Came across the Masons Arm by accident. Wandered around for another hour and returned at 5.00pm opening time. Glad we did. One of the best pubs for miles around. A nice quiet hidden gem. Proper trappist & Belgian beers, real ales, an unbeatable cosy home from home. Landlord Chris is a great bloke. Cheers!

Fantastic pub and a great selection of beers and spirits. Independent and very friendly owners. Chris is well known in Oxford and rightly so.Great locals pub. Worth going to at least once or twice if you are in the area.
