The butter was very soft which tastes wired, doesn’t like all butter but blended with plant oil. Waiting time between starter and main was extreme long (more than 40min). Seems they are short of waiters so everything was slow (even forgot I ordered wine!). Food were ordinary, vibe was good.

The services were very bad:1) Strawberry jam and cream were forgotten to come with afternoon tea.2) The servers disappeared and did not notice the call from the clients.3) The door for disability has been opened for a long time and the servers did not know it at all.

Firstly I cannot comment on food or drinks, a little odd for a restaurant review but we didn’t get that far…..!Table was reserved in advance for a family birthday and was only offered the bar area which having eaten in bars before, one would assume it would be fit for purpose! Instead we had a table in a vestibule next to the entrance, coat rack and vaguely near the bar! The other diners were in the actual restaurant.Asked to change but were told that it wasn’t possible as we only booked last week” . Customer service was non existent and management dismissive and couldn’t care less.We left and went Brasserie Blanc where we were welcomed, seated and treated perfectly. So back to The old Parsonage- first and last visit, food smelled good and ambiance seemed fine…. If you were actually seated anywhere near the main dining area.

Amazing service. We had a 2 year old with us on his birthday and popped in for a quick lunch. They couldn’t have done much more to make it special for him and for us. The staff were so attentive and friendly and really made us feel like they cared we were there. The food came quickly and was delicious but the staff really made it! Thank you!

Really disappointed with the menu. Pedestrian and not what I'd expect of a fine dining establishment. More of a pub or café menu.... uninspired and uninspiring.

This restaurant is really nice, waiters and waitresses are very friendly and enthusiastic. This environment is the part I love the most, the portraits and paintings in the wall, and a real andiron. When you walk in the restaurant, it’s like you are exploring in the forest and find a magic cabin. Dorian is the kindest man I met today, he is so nice and the best person. Worth trying, and I will come back Oxford and Paraonage Grill.

We had a very high tea and brought our two cockapoos along. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly to our dogs. Both staff and customers made a fuss of them. The tea was absolutely delicious and we had seconds of the sandwiches at no extra cost. If we'd had room we could have had seconds of the scones and cake too!

Managed to get seated without a reservation luckily on a Saturday afternoon, the service and food were very good and management very accommodating.

We finally tried this restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious, well-balanced and tasty. The sirloin steak (beautifully cooked) and the vension tartare were phenomenal. The service could be slightly improved, but we were there at a busy period.

Such a special place to eat! Relaxed and comfortable, with excellent service and great art on the walls. We've only been for lunch but every time the food has been excellent. The food is orientated towards the best British menu but that's no bad thing. Twice baked goats cheese soufflé - yum! Duck confit - yum. Sea bass with fennel - yum. It's all very tasty. It's not cheap but not horrendous and if you want a great meal and to be beautifully looked after - go!!!
