Superb pub with excellent, high quality, beautifully presented food. A cut far above most pubs - more like a really good restaurant.Service was excellent too. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal on New Year's Eve for 3 of us. Glad we were quite far away from the solo musician who started quite early & was fairly loud!

We were a large group of 15 having choices from the Christmas menu. The food was very good and served nice and hot. They paid attention to details such as food intolerances. We were pretty well all served at the same time despite having different choices. Service was good. It was warm and festive. Lovely atmosphere. Thank you Greyhound team.Parking: Well lit and plenty of space. Easy access to pub.

Great staff and lovely atmosphere. We went for roast dinner which was OK but very average, felt like potatoes and veg had been kept warm for quite a while. Desserts were nice.

Went here with a friend who haven’t seen for years as has always been a go to place. Was busy and manager on ipad so asked bar staff if there was any chance of a table and would wait. Manager eventually looked up and said we are full despite empty tables. No warmth or anything and friend saw a couple leave. Even if she had said can’t promise but feel free to grab a drink we would have stayed but felt like wasn’t interested.Friend was disgusted so left and went bear and ragged staff and had a lovely meal. Won’t go back here again. Manners cost nothing

George was very affable and friendly. Food was good and atmosphere not too bad. Better than previous experiences.

The restaurant is really nice and the garden was really lovely. The road noise is a bit, but if that really bothers you then I'd recommend sitting inside. The starters were a bit disappointing as the honey mustard glazed chipolatas are not glazed at all, it is a dip, and the calamari was overcooked. The mains (crispy beef salad and mixed roast) were delicious. The puddings (sticky toffee and caramel-chocolate chip cheesecake) were really tasty. I would think this would be a great pub on a warm summer afternoon to have a few drinks and relax in the garden. It's worth a stop in.

We’ve stopped here a couple of times on our way home from grandchildren care and we really rate it very highly as a superbly well-run pub restaurant. Last night confirmed this view with a warm welcome (we hadn’t booked), a great table in a busy restaurant, an outstanding waitress and delicious food. The one potential small glitch was that Penny’s venison arrived without potato. No sooner had I shared the mash from my wild boar pie, than the missing spud arrived as a side plate with apologies from the chef. We hadn’t said anything so there’s another sign of how good they are. Thank you very much to a real team.Parking: It’s quite a sudden and tight turning in off the Swindon-Oxford road but if you miss or gave someone on your tail, you can carry on, turn round and go in from the opposite direction

Had a family meal there with relatives. The staff were amazing and friendly. Good selection of beers. Great garden for the kids with a tractor.Parking: Lots of spaces out front.

A very warm friendly welcome and an extensive range of good beers. We just stopped off for a drink on a walk but the menu is very varied and sounds delicious. We will go back again for lunch.

We arrived at 12:10 and left at 15:10 after just 2 courses. The food was very good and tasty, well presented from a very mouthwatering menu. I think the restaurant was very busy because the food is so good but 3 hours for a 2 course meal? I was told they were very busy and had staff shortages. I felt very sorry for our young waitress struggling with a tiny paper pad and pen - where were the tablets other restaurants use? This would have been a great help instead she had to go back to the desk and key in all the orders - time consuming when the restaurant is so busy. Please Greyhound use the technology.

Excellent service, food and establishment. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make sure our experience was a great one. The food is absolutely beautiful - highly recommend the steak, it was cooked to perfection. The crispy beef salad was refreshing and delicious with mountains of crispy beef. The perfect lunch before our visit to Blenheim which is just 20 minutes away.
