A good place to chill nice food

Ben and his team were amazing. My daughter booked the table originally then had to keep adding more people. We were 17 in the end. Ben always said it was no trouble. The food was amazing. I had the roast chicken. It was the best I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty along with all the trimmings. Definitely 5* I can also say everyone said their roasts were perfect too. Everything was served with a smile despite all of us being noisy and a little cramped. It’s a small pub.Desserts didn’t disappoint either. Everything tasted freshly made. We will definitely be going back. Thank you so much. We really had a great experience.

I am not one to write reviews but I had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday lunch at The Lamb Inn and I can confidently say it was the best I’ve had in a very long time!

The staff truly made the difference. They were attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations while also accommodating our specific dietary needs. My mother is a vegetarian and she said it’s the best roast she has had in years and that is seriously saying something!!! Their enthusiasm for the menu was infectious, and it was clear they took pride in what they were serving.

The Sunday roast was nothing short of perfection. The meat was cooked amazingly well and melted in your mouth. We certainly didn’t go home hungry! Every bite was packed with flavour, making it evident that the chef pays great attention to detail.

I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic Sunday lunch. I can’t wait to return and have another delicious meal in such a warm and inviting environment!

It's always nice to eat here when I'm in the area. Great service, friendly staff, and a very welcoming and homely atmosphere. I'm slightly disappointed with the tiny beetroot salad... last year this was almost 4x the size! I showed them a photoo of the same dish a year ago and they said it was due to new ingerdients... hmm. Still, delicious and pleasant!

Parking: There is a car park at the rear. It's fairly big and suitable for larger SUVs.

Wheelchair accessibility: You could definitely get in with a wheelchair.

I have stopped here a few times now when returning back from a work trip I regularly take. The burger is great, really good quality beef and cooked perfectly. Keep meaning to try other menu options. I've been blessed with nice weather each time, so I sat outside. Nice beer relaxing garden. Sadly, they were closed for a private event more recently and had to settle with services food.

Only had a bowl of chips which cost £5, nice chips but really! £5!!!

A gem of a discovery just 15 mins from Thame - the hospitality and service from Ben and his team was brilliant, great recommendation on the wine (Sancerre - beaut!) and just so welcoming and friendly. We went for my husbands 30th and had the Bruschetta & Chicken Liver Parfait to start (both to die for) followed by the Plaice & Lamb Belly for main. It was a really special meal and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening ?

Fabulous food, lovely proprietor, great atmosphere, and lovely garden

Great looking atmospheric thatched pub restaurant. Food is excellently cooked. I had aubergine steak, which was tasted great, but with no accompaniments was just valid as a starter. So I was disappointed having it as a main course.
Staff were friendly but not attentive, leaving our party looking for extra service.

The BEST Sunday lunch! ?️? ?

I had a Sunday lunch with friends and it was just what the doctor ordered and more! The pub is quaint and full of character. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food is incredible. The roast beef was the highlight and the beer was on point. I’ll definitely be back.

Driven past a few times and looks quite nice from the outside.....Only stopped for a drink but there was very little atmosphere given that it's a village pub. Looked at the menu, and it is quite pricey.
I enquired about a drink they had but wasn't given much detail other than "it's very popular".
To be honest, it's a bit of a let down....sorry

Don't normally leave reviews but popped in for a bite to eat as I was passing and the service and food was brilliant. Recommend highly if you are in the area.
