Such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, the menu had many delicious offerings and food was excellent! Way beyond typical pub fare… a gourmet experience inside of a charming historic building in a charming historic village. We booked here for my mother in law's birthday. We all had Sunday lunch, but my goodness it was so special! The owners have done a beautiful job with the pub, its cosy but super cool with great decor details. They were incredibly welcoming with great service! And the food was super lush. They have put great thought and love into their sunday lunch! The gravy is really quite something and the beef devine!

Living down the road I’ve been meaning to eat at the “new” Lamb for a long time. It did not disappoint. Service at the bar was friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. Everything was cooked to perfection. Plus we had a delicious Sancerre at a very reasonable price. My husband confirmed his steak and rosti was the best he’d ever had and a miso caramel sticky toffee pudding was better than anything I’ve had in a Michelin star establishment.
