I only had one bitter shandy and my better half had a few glasses of wine. My drink took a long time to arrive?? from a different bar (out of sight) and was extremely flat. It felt like slops of old or perhaps very little lemonade? I didn't complain as I'd already had a bad day.Parking: Nice outdoor garden in the summer.

We had a family meal here for a special occasion and we received such a warm welcome. All of our requests were accommodated without issue. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. We had a really special time and will be returning.

Rude, belligerent and no wonder it’s empty most of the time. Just wanted to relax over a pint, but got shouted at when asked if food was available. Apparently they were understaffed while seemed more overwhelmed. No greetings, no thanking customers. More go away and don’t bother us. Avoid the place, much better options around the corner.

The landlady is extremely rude ... I am not sure why she is in hospitality. Ruined our family dinner. No wonder this once wonderful pub is empty. Sack the staff who whisper continually behind the bar to each other and start again!

Superb food, big portions, excellent value. Good service even though they had an unexpected party of wedding guests en route to the church.
Absolutely lovely home cooked food with friendly staff and good choices of drinks. Also a great garden.

Sunday lunch was quiet. Atmosphere was a bit flat. Menu choice was limited. However, staff were friendly and engaging. Food quality was good, but not outstanding. A pleasant lunch.
