Had a great lunch here yesterday. Charming service, cosy interior and a delicious meal. Especially liked the extra choice for vegetarians, although I am not one myself. The starters were particularly good - the scotch egg (a speciality) was mouth-wateringly good. I think the Confit Beetroot was the best main course we had. The chef knows his stuff.Vegetarian options: Good for vegans too.

It's far too noisy because it serves as a bar as well. Been twice, once on a Saturday night, lots of loud people came in abt 830pm means you can't hear anything and the service standard goes down as they are swamped. But fair enough on a Saturday night maybe I thought. 2nd time was a Sunday lunch few weeks later, v loud party drinking bottomless cocktails - Sunday lunch? No thanks again too loud, won't be going back. Pity because the food is first rate with interesting options for veggies.

This is the first time we've been there. The dishes are amazingly delicious. The service is top-notch and definitely we will come to visit this restaurant again, tho it's an hour drive ?

The food was delicious and the service gracious. It's a hard ask, but keep some room after the excellent main course because the puds are really something

Recent visit was pleasant but was left wanting a little more, nothing distinctly wrong but felt needed a bit more flair. For example for a restaurant named after pigs there was only one pork dish which was a scotch egg. I feel the night I went needed a special or two to showcase variety. Was a mid week dinner so perhaps less staff than usual but not the greatest service either. Overall was worth visiting but not sure the last impression was strong enough.

Family went to Five Little Pigs when it first opened. Service was slow waited an hour for main course, it was served on cold plates and food was cold. Decided to go back after it had been entered into The Michelin Guide. Staff are a credit to the establishment. Menu was an odd choice of foods put together? We started with " famous Scotch Egg, odd flavour, tasted like oil in deep fryer was stale and needed to be filtered or changed. I had full All Day Brunch... fried eggs were hard, bacon burnt and hard, black pudding excellent. Fried bread must be cooked in same fryer as Scotch Egg...tasted odd. Brother had Kegeree the poached egg was hard, shame. The restaurant is a "diamond in the rough" for Wallingford. I support local businesses but maybe the Chef was having an off day. It happens!Vegetarian options: Appears well catered for

Delicious food. Delightful attentive staff. Great drink selection. All in all a really wonderful meal for my mum’s birthday. And to the wonderful genius who put dry shampoo in the ladies - thank

We booked a table for four the week before Christmas. We booked their Xmas meal and were very much looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately the service was terrible. We waited over an hour for our food, had to remind the server and when it came it was cold. We were not asked about drinks, the table was not cleared and it did spoil the evening. We have had better experience at basic pub restaurants. We won't go back.

Food was good but we were placed at the back of the restaurant close to a very noisy table of 6 women. They got noisier and noisier. We mentioned it to the staff who said they were having a bottomless brunch and all they seemed to do about it was bring more prosecco. By the time we left there were empty tables at the front of the restaurant which we could have been offered for our desserts and coffee
