The pizza and dough balls were good however this did not compensate for the appalling service we received. We walked in and had to find a server as it was empty in the front of house, we were then pressured into ordering more food than we wanted. The food then arrived and our waiter proceeded to touch our pizzas with her bare hands after we requested a pizza cutter. She then continued to pressure us to order more which resulted in an unpleasant experience. Would not return!!

We always enjoy going to Pizza Express in Wallingford. Alex and his team are friendly and efficient. It’s a great menu (something for everyone) and every dish is a tasty one.Kid-friendliness: One of the main reasons we visit here is the kids menu. The actual activities on the menu and crayons also keeps our child entertained. By the way, they do kids pizzas parties. Would definitely recommend. They are really well done.

A pizzeria without really cheese.I do not know if this is due to shortages, Brexit, cost of living. But I am not sure pizza branch should stay in business if they cannot offer a variety of cheese options on their pizza.Other than the issue with cheese, the pizza base was decent, and the toppings although skimping a bit, was well grilled.Service was okay, the waiter tried his best.

Called into Wallingford Pizza Express for a meal before attending a show in the nearby Corn Exchange. Pizza was spot-on! Staff appear to be run-off their feet though, so could perhaps benefit from having an extra set of hands on a Friday or Saturday. Our waitress was grinning through it however and was super friendly.

Ordered a romana, must be a shortage of cheese. I think if you put the amount of cheese that was on the pizza, you'd be hard pushed to get 2 slices. Couldn't complain as was with my son, and he gets the hump if I moan. I'm very disappointed as Pizza Express is the only pizza I'll eat outside of Italy!!!! AND as with anything it's not a cheap meal!

We asked for housewine but got served most expensive wine when our food was allready finished.. too bad
Do not bother using their app to order for delivery, intact don’t expect a delivery from them.We ordered for delivery at 8:30pm on a Friday 9th June 2023. The order was accepted and we got notification that our order was being prepared and due out for delivery at 9:05. Great news we were expecting it within the approximate time quoted when we ordered happy days. 8:50pm the delivery time changed to 9:15pm, no biggie. We got the plates out in the garden it was going to be a good night. I happened to check my phone at 9:10 just to be sure it was still on time! And I saw “your order has been cancelled”! What? How can they cancel it less then 10 minutes before it was due to be delivered! I called the restaurant and they simply said they didn’t have any drivers. My point was if you have no way of fulfilling the order why accept it in the first place. And why wait 40 minutes before you realise you are not able to complete the order. We all had had a drink so we were not able to drive there to collect it.So basically the moral of the story is don’t bother ordering for delivery they will for sure let you down.If I could give them zero stars I would.

Typical Pizza Express, a bit quiet for a Sunday though. Service raised the occasion to a higher level. Cris (?) made it an enjoyable experience.
