Visited the Three Horseshoes for a works Christmas Dinner and to mark 4 staff leaving. We all had the set menu of either 2 or 3 courses. We were greeted on arrival, and offered a glass of prosecco as per the set menu, though did not get the coffee and mince pies at the end of the meal.The food was delicious, and everyone commented on how nice the atmosphere was. The staff were relatively attentive considering how full the front bar was and the other groups dining.The bill however was a different story.Having collected monies from the team in advance so that one payment could be made, I was suprised when I re-checked my figures at home that we had been overcharged by £80. I have so far failed to get a response from the Three Horse Shoes in respect of this query which is an extremely large amount of money for me to be out of pocket at any time, let alone on the run up to Christmas.I would recommend to all diners to check their bills for extra charges and take a list of the full details of set menu's to ensure that you recieve all the items that are being paid for.

Great service as always at the Shoes. The Burns night was really great fun, excellent piper, a bit of Burns to toast the haggis, lovely food and a great atmosphere and hospitality all night. Loved it.

A true British village pub, fit for the modern age. Sunday roast beef was the best I've had in the area for a while. Good wine selection, roaring fires and a friendly bur professional team. 9.9/ 10

Great little pub, has a beer garden out back and seating out the front by the road.Food is 3 stars because I've not eaten there but I imagine the food is fantastic. It certainly smells it.Food is served at intervals though, something like 12pm-3pm then again from 6pm-8/9pm this is the main reason I've not eaten there.Don't let that stop you though just check what the food schedule is before going I guess if your keen to eat there.There is no car park.

Came here for a Christmas Meal with a group of 10 work colleagues. I’d never been for a meal here and had heard mixed comments so came with low expectations on the quality of the meal. I couldn’t have been more wrong ! The service was professional and attentive , the atmosphere was festive and the food was of a really high standard and large portions. I will definitely come again.

What an amazing pub! Stopped in for a bite to eat with the wife, she had sea bass and I had steak frites. Delicious meals, polite and attentive staff who couldn’t do enough for you, will definitely be back and recommend to anyone!

We had a family lunch here Saturday. Great food, lovely pub atmosphere and a big supporter of local beers. Well done guys!

Came for a drink with friends for the first time since the refurb, the pub looks great but that’s as far as the positives go. Staff were very rude and seemed to be more interested in drinking and chatting with the locals then serving anyone else Once we did finally get served we were shocked at the prices, it’s ridiculously expensive Think it desperately needs new management and maybe some training for staff Overall wouldn’t bother coming in unless you’re a local
