We absolutely love the Half Moon! Service is always brilliant and with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious and served in good time. It's easy to park, the restaurant has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a lovely large garden you can eat in during the warmer months.We are lucky to have this gem of a restaurant so close to us.

Stumbled across The Half Moon whilst in the area and with a table of 4 adults and 4 children, they could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious, staff really friendly and the place was warm and welcoming. Really recommend The Half Moon to anyone looking for lunch or dinner.

We were given a warm welcome after a 6 mile walk. The pub has character. The pizzas are excellent and the staff exceptionally friendly. Service was very efficient. not easy when it’s a party of 13. Thank you from the Oxford Fieldpaths Society.

This is a really pretty old pub inside and out. Inside it is an Italian restaurant. We (slightly embarassed to admit) came here twice in a week because we (husband and I) both agreed that this was probably the best pizza we'd ever eaten - and I'm not kidding! Second time I thought I'd try something different but just couldn't. I usually go for a diavolo but both occasions I went for one with spinach, goats cheese, pine nuts and it was so divine. A really crispy bottom - bit of chilli oil, good glass of red wine - Oh My! Heaven!! They do pasta too which I'd have loved to try but ..........just couldn't resist the pizza! My husband followed this off with an affogato (his fav) and an ice cream!! I had something similar with baileys......delicious. Wonderful service too...........just can't fault this place........pizza was just as good each time........try it and love it!

Absolutely amazing! We only popped in for a quick bite to eat and a swift pint. Service was impeccable, pizza was delicious, an all round delightful experience. The only problem is, their pizza menu is extensive, so we'll have to go back a lot to try them all! I mean, really delicious!

Food presentation can be bit better example squid have very poor presentation and definitely less salt on pizza. Otherwise good, that’s why 3 stars.
George was very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Great food and service. As well as pizza they do wonderful salads!
