We met here for one Sunday morning for the start of our classic car club scenic run. The staff were very accommodating with fresh coffee and bacon rolls ready for us with a roaring fire on the go to accompany it all. What a lovely place!
We found ourselves in the pretty village of Britwell Salome in need of a good lunch. We received a very warm welcome from the landlord and a wonderful log fire burning. We were spoiled for choice from the day’s menu… and chose well … although all the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We can’t recommend it highly enough. A great pub. I wish we lived nearer to make it or local!

So local to us yet never visited before.The food was excellent in every way could not fault anything. Hat off to the chef cooking everything fresh. Staff very efficient even though they were multi tasking.Lovely little dining area, quiet, clean and very pleasant eveningWish we had spare funds to visit regularly.One tip take a torch to see back to the car park as it is very dark.
