Found a really big hair in my veggie breakfast this morning (can see it in the mushrooms on the photos I was taking initially because I thought the food looked nice). Sent it back and then waited half an hour for them to make another whilst my toddler and husband ate. Toddler then really frustrated at how long it was taking so it was not a pleasant experience. All we got was a half-hearted apology. The quality of the food wasn’t nice with the pancakes really rubbery and hard to cut for a child. Paid for everything but this is my second bad experience here. Heavily pregnant so hygiene is very important to me and won’t be coming back.

Have used this branch many times. Called in for lunch on Sunday. Initial waitress was friendly and efficient, food was as good as always. However the waitress that took over was almost ignorant. Asked for more drinks and she never came back. Never enquired if we wanted deserts, brought the bill and never made eye contact once, not when even taking payment. No thank you, either poor training or she was just a miserable rather ignorant girl and totally unsuitable for the work. Never seen her in there before. Either way it was her loss, removed the tenner tip so she missed out there. Will still visit the Witney branch, but will ask for a different table if this member of staff is still working there..

A charming cafe with a brilliant bistro atmosphere, which for a chained cafe is quite hard to come by. The service was fantastic and with a smile, and they were very kind and served us mussels even when it was off the menu and hadn't been prepared for that day. I'd heavily recommend here.

Absolutely delicious food the soup was nice, stake cooked to perfection with salad and dressing on the side, also nice kids meal selection. Staff are super friendly great French cuisine would definitely come back when next in the area.

Set in what appears to be a more recent addition to the town centre of questionable architectural merit, this Cafe Rouge is the standard model and benefits from open, full height windows / external doors providing a lovely cool shaded space. Service and food were fine.

Great delicious lunch on the open terrace. Varied menu and reasonable. Delicious mockail too Service friendly and relatively quick. Free parking at nearby indoor carpark for 3hrs. Perfect for an afternoon shopping with lunch on a sunny Summer week or with friends at weekends.

The food was nearly tasteless and very expensive for what we had. Two beef burgers with a little pot of fries were £33!! I had to keep asking the waitress for more tiny pots of ketchup. The Decaf coffee was also tasteless. The waitress was attentive and friendly but next time we go to the movies next door we will go to the other restaurant. Sorry but your food is not worth the money.

Visited Café Rouge on a Monday evening and ordered from their Croque or Burger deal; well worth it in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Good service also.

Me and my wife had a meal on Saturday night. The service we received was 1st class. Our waiter who is called Louis is a credit to Cafe Rouge.

Had lunch here with a friend last week. We decided to go with the set menu which had a good selection and what we did choose was delicious. Staff were helpful and friendly but not overbearing. Would definitely visit again.
