Samad Cottage

Called from work for our monthly team curry, it's the 1st time we've all eaten here and it was very nice, all the food was hot, it took its time to be brought to the table but we were early and it was worth the wait for some of us, portions were about right for one person.

Got a takeaway delivered from these boys last week and everything was on point!<br><br>Food arrived much quicker than the estimate given (t'was a Saturday after all so l was prepared to wait) and when it did come it was delish!<br><br>I've tried other Indian-inspired cuisines in the area and this one will be my go to from now on!

We called in at 930pm and ordered food promptly knowing they closed at 1030pm, the waiter looked unhappy that we were in an hour before they closed, service continued without a smile and once we'd paid the bill we were informed 'they were now closed' which felt like 'leave now' food was ok, service not great at all..felt completely rushed and unwelcome so either go with plenty of time to spare or better still don't go at all..
