“Only had Sunday lunch , but it was well worth the drive from Cambridge, highlights being superb beef, and the picked red cabbage. My only slight issue being the horseradish had been unjustly tamed by making it part of a hollandaise sauce, this was exactly to my dining partners taste, but ( as someone who used to hunt the hedgerow for a horseraddish, and have it blended on the plate within 10 mins so it didnt lose any potency) just didnt deliver the nasal flaring kick required, however the beef was so good I ate it all before the server returned to ask if we needed anything.”

“After struggling to find somewhere on the bank holiday, could not have asked for better. Food was delicious, portions generous and service amazing ? Even threw in extra portions of pizza and fries for the kids. Great experience”
