We booked here for our mums 70th birthday and they opened for lunch. The food (for 14 people) was exceptional, from the freshly baked bread to the delicious main courses. wine, coffee and atmosphere, everything was faultless. They catered for our small children and dietary requirements too and were the most welcoming hosts. Thank you Fox and Hounds, you made our mums day! We will be back very soon

Lovely pub and location and very friendly.The menu was good and food beautifully prepared and served. Personally we go for a bit more garlic, herbs, olive oil and tomato with our food, but that's just our own taste. Exceptionally good coffee.

Fabulous place. Just the sort of pub/eating house I love. No straight walls, quirky, lots of history. Great ambience. Service is good, very attentive. Food was lovely, my salmon was overcooked, but the rest was delicious. Going back before the new year ?
