We went for a first meal here, its an old fashioned pub from the outside and interior design but don't let that put you off, as the food being served and service is absolutely first class. We started with the brie and bread for two which was very very good, perfect. I had the lamp served on crushed potatoes which was very tasty and my wife the cod. An absolutely amazing place - second visit for Saturday lunch with family and once again a delightful experience. Ambience is great, the welcome and service wonderful and the food is fantastic. A rare find in this day and age. Highly recommend and we will be back again soon.

Stopped by on the way home for Sunday lunch, best Sunday roast at a pub in a very long time. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really pleasant. I definitely go again but we don't live anywhere near ☹️
