Spent nearly 2 hours in the restaurant on the evening of 31st August. Service was beyond slow. The food came in stages, not a problem at all however no plates were provided. We asked for them and they were laid but 5 minutes later the plates were taken away. Half the food we ordered was missing but by this time we’d waited nearly 75 minutes so abandoned those. We then asked for the dessert menu and ordered coffee while we waited. The dessert menu never arrived and we had to chase up the coffees, which when arrived were missing tea spoons to stir. After 2 hours, we stirred our coffees with the forks, paid for what we received and left. Very disappointed, especially as our first visit here a couple of weeks ago had been so good.

I visited No23 last night with friends and we had such a lovely evening! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by gorgeous decor and a buzzing atmosphere, from there on out it only got better the staff were friendly and attentive and as you’d hope the food and wine were fab! I know from a first look at the menu you may think it’s a little pricey but I really think the quality of the food is justified in the price but please don’t let that put you off of visiting this place, there are some lower cost options on the menu that are also delicious!! We were a party of 4 we all had mains, soft drinks, a glass of wine, 2 had dessert and 2 had coffee and the bill came to £33 per head which for a delicious meal out in a beautiful setting is totally worth it!! We will definitely be back.

On Saturday 24th June we booked for a table of 10 in the outside room. From the moment we arrived our waitress Siân looked after us so well, explaining the starters and mains and advising us on the wine. All of our food was amazing and this was obvious from the very clean plates.The Garden room was perfect as a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversaryAll of our guests contacted us the following day to say what a wonderful evening it was.Thank you also to Grace who looked after us until we left.We look forward to returning soonAndrew & Sian Farmer

My daughter and I had lunch at No 23 today ( 8th May ) .We both had the chicken and Chorizo paella and we both thought it was one if not the best paella we had eaten! Totally great value for money and the service we received was excellent…….? we will be returning for sure !!

Myself and my wife have been here twice for dinner and this morning for brunch and the food is always amazing, the staff are always friendly and helpful and there is always a warm welcome. I would highly recommend this place.

I wont be returningI thought it was lunch for less - Not less lunchManagement - Why invest all this money and then serve up lacklustre portions?I ordered a Tagliatelle main which was basically a starter. The starter itself wasnt worth serving imo.For the sake of abit of pasta? It doesnt make sense?Disappointed customer because I wish id chosen elsewhere
