A grand Scottish Hotel on the Deeside Road. Very popular with overseas tourists. We had a large, well furnished room & a great bathroom with a gorgeous jacuzzi bath. Breakfasts & dinners we're excellent alough the dining room closed for 1 night. Experienced & efficient staff plus a friendly manager. It's well placed for a good driving tour of the area. There's a path in the woods opposite for walking or mountain biking. Would happily stay again.Rooms: Lovely big room with 4 poster bed, large bathroom with jacuzzi bath, separate showerWalkability: Woods opposite have a walking & mountain biking path.

Booked overnight stay in a master room £182 for b&b.Very disappointing, the hotel and our room was right next to the A93,master room above reception so you could here everything. The room itself was small and after being in the room an hour pulled back the bedding and found blood on the bedsheets ( staff did change when reported but should never happen in any room never mind one your paying £180 for) .Food in the evening was of good standard and restaurant staff were lovely. Not so great in the morning when ,whilst still eating my cereal, my hot breakfast got put down infront of me-felt very rushed.

What an amazing stay, we had the Master Suite with Jacuzzi bath, the room was beautiful, the food delicious, the staff were wonderful. Andrew and Jenny the hosts helped with everything and were great when we asked to get married on the Lock, superb location, the bottle of Prosecco in the room after the wedding was a very kind gesture too. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this hotel.

A decent hotel with pleasant bar and breakfast area. The breakfast selection was fine for me. Main issue was the pillows were pretty poor and the bed was generally not that comfortable. If you have a couple of pillows on the bed, ideally they would be of different types so that you could find one that suited. These all seemed to be hard, large and a bit bumpy.

Popped in for a drink and were welcomed by one of the sweetest people in the world. Thank you Irma! She made us feel SO welcome and we loved the place immediately! Will definitely return as the ambience and setting was so lovely too. Plus great walks around! You're lucky to have Irma working with you! Made all the difference! Thank you x

This is a true Gem in Scotland. The hosts were most gracious in helping our group learn about the area and the best places to visit in the Spey Valley. Can’t say enough about the great service and hospitality, they truly make you feel like family while you are there. The food was excellent. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to this beautiful area of Scotland.

We have just returned from a great stay at the loch kinord hotel. The rooms were well furnished very clean and most of all very comfortable. We were served a very filling breakfast and the evening meals were excellent, the staff what can I say but well done to all brilliant and very accommodating to a very noisy group of 12. I would have no hesitation in recommending staying at this hotel well done all great.

Leuk hotel, mooie ligging, personeel vriendelijk. Kamers klein maar knus, badkamer erg klein. Wifi op de kamer heel slecht tot geen, in de lounge wel goed.Rooms: Klein maar knus. Badkamer erg klein

The people here are super nice. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. I would highly suggest getting your meals here as well. The dinners are generously portioned and delicious. I would suggest the Mushroom Ragout appetizer. There is also a trail out to a picturesque little lake behind the hotel that is a nice walk.

Our room was on the small side with furnishing from a bygone era. They were solid, functional, and included a comfortable four poster bed. The decor and curtains were on the dark side but there was plenty of lights and a glass door giving access to a private veranda. The en-suite bathroom room was adequate but the shower lacked grab handles and trays for sponges etc. The menus was limited but the food was good. Finally the staff were first class. The cost was in keeping with the overall quality and ambiance of the hotel. In the well maintained grounds there was plenty of outdoor seating and also plenty of parking including electric charging bays.

A lovely, family run, independent hotel. I noticed the hotel is extremely clean. Absolutely spotless. Our room had a lovely balcony and en suite bathroom. There was a lot of furniture in our room including a four poster bed and we had to rearrange things slightly to make room yo get ready. There’s no fridge and the shower is over the bath and not separate. To be expected I suppose. We visited for a wedding and had a long drive after an early flight. We had a nap when we arrived and bizarrely, we were wakened by a phone call from the owner asking us to be mindful of noise when we returned from the wedding the following evening. Apart from this all was fine with our stay. Breakfast was good. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous and we would love to return to do more touring. I would recommend this hotel if staying in the area, it added to our whole experience of our Scottish wedding weekend. Many thanks to the owners for a lovely stay.
