I'll be back soon for a smoked haddock supper, I've never had one before and if the chips I had today are anything to go by, it will be something to savour! A great place for food, chat and beer. A gem, well worth the drive from Edinburgh.

Very friendly welcome. Fish and chips cooked to order. Haddock was a nice change from cod. Interesting combination of chip shop, sit in cafe, and bar.

Family of 8 - dinner was great fresh fish and chips were good. Staff friendly and helpful and less of a bustle than anstruther which was nice - worth a visit

Long queue, and very little menu choice. Cash only as well. Chips were average, tasted ok but were a bit soggy. Had a greasy aftertaste, expected better from the reviews. The chippy in Anstruther is much better

Oh goodness heavenly fish supper. Great admiration for fish fryer How he checks everything turning fish, checking chips, adding more fish and chips to cook. I was glad there was a queue because I was mesmerised how skilled he was.

We normally go to the Anstruther fish bar...but as we were visiting Pittenweem, we thought we would save the miles and try the local fish bar. Well we weren't disappointed. It was delicious, Take away only and a limited menu...but if it's a good fish and chip supper your after, it's half the price and great food. Just a short drive away is the beach and you can sit and eat your supper. Highly recommended.

Stopped in here with my daughter on Thursday. Very old school feel (a good thing in my opinion) food was really good. We had a fish supper and sausage supper. Will definitely be going back when we are out that way on the bike again ?️❤️

Got fish suppers from here when staying in Pitenweem with friends. The fish ewas excellent - crispy, white and flaky with no oil on it. Chips were crispy and golden. Helps that they wrap the food in good old fashioned paper and not cardboard boxes which make the food sweat. As good as other award winning chippies without the need to travel.

Basic, no frills fish and chip shop. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. We both had fish suppers so can’t comment on rest of the menu but we enjoyed them so much we had to return a couple of days later.
