22 High St, AuchterarderWe visited whilst playing golf in the area and staying within walking distance. The restaurant is located in Auchterarder, a very short drive from the Gleneagles resort.
The proprietor is very friendly and welcoming, he gave our group a great breakdown of the specials and offered us his recommendations which we all enjoyed. There is also a great selection of wines and international beers available.
The Chateaubriand was excellent and we found this restaurant a fitting end to a brilliant day on a world famous golf course.

I wish I didn’t eat lunch before walking in the town because the food I saw at nearby tables looked amazing.
Such lovely and friendly staff. They are pet friendly, they have bowls, water and treats available for your pet.
The restaurant is beautiful and cozy, they have such lovely patio.

Main Rd, AuchterarderRooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable.
Lovely bar area for drinks and food, nice atmosphere . The food was very tasty and extremely competitively priced.
The staff and owners were really nice and helpful.
Great ‘beer’ garden and plenty of parking at the rear of the property.

34 High St, Perthshire, AuchterarderWhat can I say about this wonderful little gem. The food is excellent, and Fernanda is so friendly and welcoming. It's like going home except your mum is cooking a 5 star luxurious meal. Will be coming back again.
Very good produce, no need for sides, and the seasoning was so good that on every table, the salt and pepper remained un touched. Brilliant.

Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, AuchterarderWe had an amazing experience at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie. We were both celebrating a milestone birthday this year and had received gift vouchers. What a treat.
Service was outstanding by everyone we spoke to. Friendly, funny and not at all pretentious. The food was delicious - we had the three course a la carte, but with lots of extras, including a special birthday dessert. We asked for wine recommendations with each course. They were all perfect.
An experience we’ll always remember.

Young girl came out with bridies for display and no way was I leaving without buying a couple ? Can’t comment as in fridge but I’m sure they’ll be yummy.
Next time we do a charity shop drop off and have a beer we’ll be back ?

168 High St, AuchterarderDecided to try this chippy as we are on holiday, que was out the door (wed night) and we now know why.. food was absolutely delish, had a fish supper and it was by far the best, fresh, perfectly cooked crispy battered fish I’ve eaten in years.. we are going back tonight for another and will definitely be taking a drive from Fife back up soon. Staff very polite, as were the locals we spoke to whilst waiting. 30 mins wait but it was worth it for the fresh cooked food.

I would love it give it strong 5 out of 5 but I can't since there are times when food arrives cold or is little bit bland. All in all, most services provides are high up to the standard and leave me with a big smile on my face. I recommend this restaurant to anyone that lives in Auchterarder and in areas close to that location. If you live too far away, this restaurant is also for you as it provides food worthy of travelling a long distance to taste it.

Gleneagles Hotel, The, AuchterarderWe ate here for our evening meal as part of our stay at Gleneagles. The staff were very good and checked back regularly. The quality of the food was very good and enjoyable. A couple of things let it down, our steak was undercooked to the way we asked and this wasn’t checked by our server as per the restaurants guidance online. We didn’t raise this as actually the quality of the meat was so good we still enjoyed it a lot. We were sat under a vent which was blowing cold air and it did impact our experience. The staff had tried to get this turned off and the manager came to apologise himself. Overall we are happy to score the restaurant 5 stars as the food was so delicious and for the manager coming over himself to apologise was appreciated.

Gleneagles Hotel, The, AuchterarderHad dinner here on a Saturday evening. Quite busy but staff very attentive. Wife and i had the Indian thali sharing platter which was a delicious feast that left us very full indeed. Excellent value. Only slight negative was that my seat was about 2 foot away from the kitchen which made it quite warm environment.
