College Mill Trout Farm, Almondbank, PerthAfter an 8K walk from Almondbank we stumbled across the Tickled Trout Cafe! What a find ?!
The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. The decor inside is beautiful and the log burner was lovely treat after a windy spring walk.

29-31 Main St, Almondbank, PerthWhen we moved to the village 6 years ago, all we wanted was a friendly local but unfortunately it was closed.
It soon reopened and it was exactly what we wanted.
We stopped going for a while but have started going again.
Great friendly atmosphere and dogs welcome. Great place to watch the six nations

The Pitcairngreen Inn
Pitcairngreen, PerthMy partner and I have eaten there twice now, I can't complain about anything at all. I had the scampi and chips, my partner had the sausage and mash with side plate of salt and pepper chips. I love their chips, that's what you call chips. The scampi was cooked to perfection as like the chips.
The service is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and so helpful.
I am sad to that I couldn't have pudding afterwards as I was stuffed but I suggested of taking the pudding home which we did.
The profiteroles were so out of this world, so easy to cut with a spoon, and with chocolate ice-cream it was so delicious.
We will definitely be there again.

Compass Cafe
C/O Tiso Outdoor Experience Inveralmond Retail Park, PerthA couple of good gluten free plus vegan baked potato options, and at least one GF+VE cake offering when we went. Upstairs inside large mountaineering equipment shop. Plenty of parking. Recommend.
Dietary restrictions: Good gluten-free options and staff are allergy aware and keen and able to help.
