Bar • “Went here with family while in aviemore, defo a wee hidden gem on a site just as you come into aviemore. The food was great and owners were really kind and helpful. Will defo return”
Bar • “Every time I visit aviemore I come to the pine marten and I’m never disappointed. They have quite a basic selection of food but we enjoy it every time and the price I feel is fair for the location. The atmosphere and vibe of the bar is what draws us back every time.”

Bar • “Great place to stay rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. Staff are all lovely. The food is fabulous and right in the middle of Aviemore. Extremely useful if travelling by train as it is opposite the railway station.”
Bar • “The atmosphere and setting of the pub was brilliant. They managed to squeeze us in even though it was a busy evening. The food was nice but we felt it to be a little overpriced for what it was. They have a great selection of beers on tap.”
Bar • “Friendly prompt service despite being busy. Having read the previous post about the gammon steak, I can report mine was fine. The nice aspect was 2 fried eggs which covered the gammon. The chips were crispy. The peas were probably tinned(?) which aren’t my favourite. The others had spaghetti bolognaise which was tasty. Pity the Theakston ciders available were both fruity variants. At least the Cairngorm Hotel bar serviced Theakston Original ?”
Bar • “Great down to earth restaurant and bar with excellent service and yummy food in excellent portions. We had the chilli nachos to start between the 4 of us (massive portion), ,burgers for main and chocolate cake and ice-cream for dessert. All well presented and tasty at reasonable prices.”
“Caravan site is brilliant, stayed during bad weather and the trees make for nice shelter, great facilities and play park and nice woodland walks around site, 5min walk into town, good level pitches will deff use ”
