Such a cozy and inviting place! We came here for a bit of tea, coffee, and a scone before our hike and then some tomato basil soup, a beer, and a hot toddy after our hike to warm us up- all of which were so good! The owner and staff are absolutely amazing and kind. We were on holiday celebrating a special occasion and they went above and beyond for us and made us feel so incredibly welcome. Every time I visit aviemore I come to the pine marten and I’m never disappointed. They have quite a basic selection of food but we enjoy it every time and the price I feel is fair for the location. The atmosphere and vibe of the bar is what draws us back every time.

We love this place so much. The staff are wonderful and every time we've been it's been amazing. Ate there tonight and after a tiny mishap with our food order, the staff went above and beyond to sort us out, despite us being totally happy either way. If you want great atmosphere, friendly conversation, good food and beer then look no further. Thank you for the free Dalwhinnie, you may have just made me a whisky lover!
