Staff went out of their way to make the experience great! We had one person who is gluten intolerant and another who has an allergy to coriander/cilantro. They reassured both about what they could eat and were absolutely stellar in doing so. The food was absolutely fantastic and all three of us absolutely enjoyed our meals. Couldn’t recommend this cafe enough. Great experience!

Great walking distance for us we use it often we were there between Christmas and new year with family and were disappointed as the service was 5 star and always is very attentive staff and friendly it’s nice to see the same faces when we go but the food was sadly lacking portions were tiny prices did not reflect this the haddock mornay was sadly lacking sauce and dare I say fish as the portion resembled more a kids than an adults even vegetables had to be hunted down quality of food not what it use to be this has has been the case for the last few times we have visited a pity

Throughly enjoyed all aspects of the restaurant. My family and I visited during the evening at around 8:30pm and found it to be one of the only restaurants in the area still serving food at that time. The sea beam was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the restaurant. All parts of the meal had high quality ingredients and a very well developed flavor profile. The food is exceptional for the prices and is of the quality you may find at a fine dining restaurant.

Stumbled across Saffy's by chance and very glad we did. Excellent food and service, plus a great atmosphere. Smoked haddock chowder was amazing! Couldn't fault it. A real gem.

Harish and his team including were great. Me and my daughter wanted to have a dinner for Burn’s night. We tried lots of items from their Buffet and enjoyed a lot. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious. Service was great. Harish even asked us if we want something from the menu so chef can prepare. We will be definitely coming here again with our family and also planning to visit their Edinburgh restaurant.

Great welcome and with our muddy boots too. Impromptu lunch after a long'ish walk and have been meaning to come here for ages. Great food and service. Both mains and desserts were delicious. The sticky toffee pudding though is out of this world!

I love stopping by this place for breakfast! It’s become a little ritual for me. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and the team does a fantastic job — you can tell they really care.
The only tiny thing that would make it perfect is if the river view was a bit clearer while sitting with a coffee, as the scenery is lovely. But overall, it's a wonderful, welcoming spot. Well done, guys!

A fine establishment to have a get together with friends, friendly staff. Only issue I can say is that on days where there are no events the background music can be slightly too loud. This is my personal opinion so it may be differing from person to person however I find it a slight nuisance on one night.

Excellent restaurant. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday here with friends and family and the service and food were both fantastic. It would be great to see a steak dish added to the menu, but that’s a small gripe. Overall we were really happy with everything. The staff were especially helpful, giving us doggy bags and letting us bring our own cake, which they presented to my dad. A lovely touch and a great experience all round.

Quite nice. Friendly and attentive staff. Food appears to be mid range. I had haddock and chips. It's what I like. The great thing was that the portion was bang on. Often I get a mountain of chips that I cannot finish, at other places. I was so happy that I could clear my plate. Other restaurants should take note re portion size. Might save them a few quid.

On holiday in Ayr, Taxi driver recommended this chippy, saying great prices and nice food.

Boy was he right,
Excellent portions, chips amazing full of flavour, non greasy, chilli cheese bites awesome.
Fantastic prices.

We will be visiting this chippy again as we stay at Craig Tara regularly,

Cant wait to try all of the menu.

I would 100% recommend it to all.

Tried this Chinese takeaway while on holiday in Ayr. Hands down one of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever tried! Prices are brilliant for the size of the portions you get! Never had so much chicken in chow mein or omelette usually most bulk it out with noodles and egg but wow the amount of meat on the dishes here is brilliant considering the price! Salt and chilli chips were the best I've had! Actually packed a good punch of heat! Rice was really good also! Curry portions are way above standard elsewhere one pot probably would do 2 people! The only thing I'd say that's a slight con is just the chicken balls were slightly abit too oily but again thats not a bad thing as you'd expect that with fried food and it helped the chicken as it was very juicy and again good chunks of chicken! If you're staying on holiday in Ayr and looking for a Chinese I couldn't recommend this one highly enough! £50 for a family of five and we probably had enough left to dish up food for another 2/3 people! Superb!

Amazing quality and fresh produce excellent value for money! There is absolutely no scrimping on portions sandwiches are huge and full of fresh fillings. The chicken is real chicken not processed cash and carry slices. Soup is delicious and the cakes all home made not bought in. Visited many times the quality stays excellent highly recommend to anyone who hasn't been yet.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Spacious room with super king size bed. spotlessly clean. Food was superb. Good selection of meals on the menu. Breakfast couldn’t be faulted. Continental buffet and full Scottish breakfast. Staff are very professional, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Work so well together as a team and evident they are all passionate about their roles in hospitality. Customer service was second to none. Will certainly be back.
