I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here! We came very early in the season and we're the only people here but the staff was incredibly kind and the food was SUPERB! I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the Glencoe area
The place is simple, even basic, but the food is quite good. We took ribeye, pasta with cream sauce, mushrooms and chicken and green risotto with shrimps. Everything was tasty. Pasta is creamy and not oily, steak is tender and juicy, risotto is very tasty as well. Portions are big enough. Wine choice is short, but not bad. The only problem is the lack of clients, but we had very quite and wonderful evening. The staff was very polite and helpful
The restaurant is inside the Lodge by the Loch, doesn't say Sea Salt Cafe anywhere I could see. Breakfast was great, coffee was good, great price. Service was great. Definitely an older building, but not moldy or dirty as mentioned in other reviews. I would definitely eat here again, especially if I was traveling through.
