Very nice lunch in one of the only places open on Christmas eve. Busy pub restaurant right on the wellmeadow. I had a very unusual venison curry.

We visited here on a Saturday lunchtime and were so glad we did - service & food were excellent. Lovely home cooked meals at reasonable prices with generous portions and friendly welcoming staff. We will definitely be back !

Was in for light lunch snacks. I had the soup and a sandwich, the tomato and basil soup was very nice. There was an extensive menu available and also a specials board.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available on the menu and specials board.Parking: Paid parking available outside, limited spaces. Free on Sundays.

I ordered a cheese and bacon burger with chips and coleslaw. Delicious ? it was perfect and I know that as I was having many burgers around here. Lovely service. It was not too expensive. Portion of chips maby overpriced a bit. I will be back there again .Kid-friendliness: High chairs for kids.Parking: One hour free parking. So if you planning on staying longer you have to park farther away.
