Great selection of ales, gins and whiskies. Fantastic atmosphere; friendly staff and regulars. Favourite pub in UK.Visit Blairgowrie regularly, just been up Nov 2019, and always visit the Ale house. Always great beer and good chat with regulars!
This is a proper small Scottish pub. It's decor is old but it's atmosphere is older. Great banter and great bar staff. Do not enter if you want high class. Also has a free book section and a pub dog. Brilliant. Try the pangalacticgargleblaster.

A great wee pub with lots of character, a nice range of well kept ales, lagers as well as bottled / canned beers and ciders, sadly there's fewer and fewer decent pubs like this left and they deserve our support. Nice laid back atmosphere and dog friendly too. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area!
