You need to try this place, the prices are amazing and jeezo what a plateful you get, staff are so friendly and will help anyway they can. I take my hat off to anyone that manages 3 courses!!!
What it lacks in style and ambience - you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the office canteen! It more than makes up for in service and food. Friendly staff, good menu choice, child friendly and the Steak Pie, which came recommended, was absolutely delicious. Make sure you enter the premises hungry - the portions are generous! Next time I want steak pie, I know where to come. Booking wasn't necessary on our visit but it was busy.
Great pub with friends staff and enormous food servings, free pool table, unbelievable smoking hut out the back. Grumpy old man that stands at the bar every day though apart from that the occasional lock in makes up for that.
