It's difficult to rate a cafe at 10h00 on a cold Thursday morning in February but after a dog walk in the dunes and waiting for a car repair we found just the place to satisfy all our requirements: a friendly welcome in pleasing surroundings, a breakfast choice extraordinary for the region and date and food which exceeded expectations. Despite being dangerously close to closing time they still rustled up a tasty toasty, let me have a cake and made a delicious coffee and didn't rush me out at closing time. I am not advising you do this yourselves but just saying how nice the cafe was to let me chill out when they had the rights to chuck me out. Star stop when passing through Brora I'd say.

Lovely cafe with amazing cake, coffee and one of the best Caramel hot chocolates I've ever had! Would definitely recommend a stop here if you're doing the NC500 to support the local community, 2 drinks and a slice of cake was £12.
