A little louder than our usual choice with a very lively atmosphere. However, the service was incredible, even catering for some special requests for a picky eater! The food itself was incredible too! Limited menu but every item on it was perfect. The scampi, battered haddock and steak pie are definitely recommendations from us.Henry the pub dog is really friendly too, even with our own dog!
A friendly country pub and hotel with restaurant and dog friendly bar. We had a generous roast beef Sunday lunch, but sadly no horseradish sauce, followed by a nice homemade raspberry cheesecake. A good selection of beers plus guest beer, also alcohol free beer and cider available.
